Forbes.com has just named the Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School Social Enterprise Conference one of the top 12 conferences of 2009 along with the World Economic Forum and the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting. It is the only entirely student-run conference to make the list.
The 2009 Social Enterprise Conference is a forum for sharing ideas to create a better world. We are in an exciting time for social enterprise - each week brings news of multi-billion dollar philanthropic initiatives to solve global problems and new corporate strategies fostering sustainability and social responsibility. Social enterprise offers not only economic resources, but also the strategic and management expertise to ensure that change is long-lasting and large-scale.
