What is Net Impact Austin?
Net Impact Austin is a network of professionals and entrepreneurs, in the Austin metro-area, creating a better and more sustainable world.
We are a registered 501(c)3 and a professional chapter affiliate of Net Impact, a global membership organization of students, professionals, and entrepreneurs using their career skills to improve the way the world does business. The Net Impact global network includes over 10,000 members, nearly 200 chapters, and 6 continents – making it one of the most influential networks of students and professionals in existence today. The global headquarters of Net Impact, affectionately nicknamed ‘Net Impact- Central’, is in San Francisco.

Who are Net Impact members?
Net Impact Austin members include current and emerging leaders strongly committed to corporate social responsibility with diverse interests including social entrepreneurship, nonprofit management, international development, corporate citizenship and sustainability.
What is the difference between Net Impact-Central and Net Impact Austin?
Net Impact-Central is the headquarters of the Net Impact network, located in San Francisco. Net Impact-Central expands the Net Impact network, supports the nearly 200 student and professional chapters, and manages global programs and services.
Net Impact Austin is a 100% volunteer-run organization affiliated with Net Impact-Central. Some of our members leverage the global network, resources, and tools facilitated by Net Impact–Central, but others choose to engage only in local events and programs. Chapter events focus on in-person engagement amongst members and regional leaders for a positive impact in the Austin metro area.
